The ASOS, Missguided, Target and Topshop ad’s are my top ones out of the bunch, fun and fresh. And the Hermes advert is such a simple, yet classic idea! Reminds me of old children’s cartoon’s.

A selection on fashion advertisment campaigns for Spring/Summer 2012, along with some on set lookbook’s for retailers that I came across and thought were interesting to watch.
I’m intrigued by fashion advertising especially in video format. If you take a look at the Lanvin Ad, they seem to have used photo stills to create a moving ad. Bloody fab.
I think it’s time to get in the mood for updating your spring wardrobe and think about colors to shake off the winter blue’s. Check them all out for some inspiration.
The Prada, Target and Victoria Beckham ones are my favorite, love the music they chose especially for Prada. That’s my kind of playlist!!

I brought a Prada Candy gift box from Neimen Marcus in October online which retailed at $108.
I decided to go for the box set as it included the big bottle which is 2.7 oz and then a lotion and a small bottle for your purse which is also handy to throw in your makeup bag. I also got a the small bottle has a pull off stopper which you lightly dab where you fancy. The big bottle is a push down spray bottle. Kind of reminds me of the traditional Chanel No 5 bottles and a nice spray you can whip out your purse and people are like wow look at that bottle!
I also got a free gift with my purchase from Neimen Marcus a small Prada pouch or makeup bag and a Prada candy shower gel which was nice.
I hadn’t smelt a sample yet but knew I would like it based on smelling the other Prada fragrances and loving the soft, dreamy powdery smell they have.
Now Prada candy’s major selling point is not only the fragrance. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous. It has a posh 5th Ave. feel to it, women in fur coats and ladies who lunch. The lady on the front of the packaging is elegant, gives of a flirty impression. She travels to Milan, Paris and Buenos Aires. The bottle is art deco style with a black spray pump and gold and pink accents. The perfume itself is an amber color which carries on with the warm feeling.
The smell is described as by Prada
Top: regressive notes of joyful carefreeness, explosion of caramel.
Mid: powdery notes of sophistication, cocktail of musks.
– Base: vanilla notes of sensuality, benzoin overdose.
I feel that its a warm smell with a hint of sweet. A little bit of brown sugar or caramel. It blends well with my body temperature and should be mostly worn alone. It’s one of those that warms to your body. I’ve warn it with a vanilla body spray and it takes away from the smell.
It fades gradually during the day but you can still smell it at the end of the day, one that melts into your skin. I would say it’s a day fragrance and could be combined with something more aromatic and heavy for night time.
It’s now available at Neimen Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom.
Get yourself some Prada Candy, I like the whole concept of this perfume including the advert. Wrap yourself in some decadence.
